Travel Requirements
Passport Requirements
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months
from your date of entry into Bhutan. Make sure you
have at least two blank pages for visa stamps.
Visa Requirements
All international visitors (except Indian,
Bangladeshi, and Maldivian nationals) require a visa.
Visas must be arranged through a licensed Bhutanese
tour operator before arrival. The visa fee is USD $40.
We handle all visa processing on your behalf.
Simply provide us with your passport copy and details,
and we'll take care of the rest.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical
emergencies, trip cancellation, and emergency
evacuation is highly recommended. If you plan on
trekking at altitude, ensure your policy covers
high-altitude activities.
Health Preparations
No vaccinations are mandatory for Bhutan, but
Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and routine vaccinations are
recommended. If arriving from a yellow fever endemic
area, proof of vaccination is required. Consult your
doctor before traveling.
