Festival Tour
Tsechus, the most important sacred festivals in Bhutan, are generally performed in all parts of Bhutan, most popular are Paro Tshechu, Thimphu Tshechu, and Punakha Tshechu. From conventional mask dances to rituals and folk music are the integral components of the festival. It not just attracts the locals but also lures thousands of travelers across the globe.
Bhutan festival trips are in fact the best way to acknowledge the old living culture of the country. The Tshechu is a Buddhist carnival held in honour of Guru Rinpoche, the Lotus-born Indian priest who brought Buddhism to Bhutan. Many Tshechus are dated back to 5th-century pre-historic eras. Holy rituals, engraved wooden masks, folk music and dances, colorful traditional outfits make the festival so unique and unreal like nowhere else in the world.
