Trashiyangtse
Tashi Yangtse is a community in Yangtse Gewog, and the locale central station of the Trashiyangtse District in eastern Bhutan. It lies inside the Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary on the eastern tri-intersection of Bhutan-India-China and toward the east lies Tawang in India. Closest air terminal is Yongphulla Airport 130 km away.
Situated in closeness to Chorten Kora stupa which misleads the west, a dzong was introduced in Trashiyangste in 1997. It contains a significant workmanship school, The School of Traditional Arts, otherwise called Rigne School, which is a sister school of the Zorig Chosum School of Traditional Arts in Thimphu, and shows six types of craftsmanship; painting, ceramics, wood mold, wood-turning, veneer work and weaving.
