Overview
The Thimphu Festival (Tsechu) is one of the grandest of Bhutan’s festivals and attracts the largest audience. Featuring dances performed by monks and laymen in amazing masks and costumes, and are one of the best ways to experience the ancient living culture of Bhutan.
Itinerary
Upon arrival, you will greeted by your guide then drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. If your flight arrives early, your guide will take you for sightseeing in Thimphu.

Enjoy the colorful mask dance and cultural dance. In the evening visit farmer market and walk around the city.

After breakfast, drive towards north of Thimphu for 40 minutes to visit Tango Monastery. Tango Monastery is one of the highest Buddhist Learning Centers in the kingdom. This site is said to have been visited and blessed by Guru Rinpoche (1 hour hike). In the afternoon, we will visit the festival again.

After breakfast,drive to Punakha via Dochu-la Pass (3,140 m /10,301 ft). Visit: Punakha Dzong, Chimmi Lhakhang and nunnery.

In the morning, drive to Paro via Dochu-la Pass.
Visit: Rimphung Dzong, Paro National Museum, Dumtshe Lhakhang and downtown Paro.

On your final day of the cultural tour in Bhutan, embark on a hike to the iconic Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery — an essential and quintessential Bhutanese travel experience. Having explored numerous areas on foot throughout your journey, we aspire to take you beyond Taktsang. This is a comprehensive full-day hike.
