Itinerary
Welcome to the Land Of Thunder Dragon! You will be welcomed by your guide waiting outside for arrival. Visit: National Memorial Chorten – built in 1974 for late king Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, the third ruler of Bhutan (1928-1972).
Buddha Point in the Kuenselphodrang Nature Park to see the 169-foot-tall bronze statue of the situated Buddha Dordenma. Later in the evening visit farmers market and free time to explore capital city of Bhutan.
Chhimi Lhakhang – short hike to Chhimi Lhakhang. Visit Punakha Dzong.
Drive to Dochula and witness Druk Wangyel Festival. Later in the afternoon continue your drive to paro. Visit: Paro National museum and Paro Dzong.
Taktsang Monastery (Tiger Nest): Located in the middle of the cliffy mountain, your pain will be washed as you reach the temple.
Kyichu Lhakhang – After lunch, we will visit the other oldest temple
